Lisa Clark

Lisa Clark is an artist living and working in the UK, painting primarely in oils and inspired by the numerous aspects of city life.

The paintings depict the light and atmosphere of the city and the evidence of life in the places we don't usually notice..... the window above the bar, a shadow behind a restaurant, that time between day and night when the last of the sun's light mixes with the streetlights creating colours and reflections unlike anyhting else. Each city has its own charm but every city is a mystery.

Lisa Clark studied Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University from 1998 - 2001. After her study she travelled around the world collecting ideas for her art work, Lisa returned to Nottingham which is now her base from where she works and explores.
